Media and Public Information Plan (Abridged) Jan 2008
Written on: Wednesday, Jun 1 2005 at 12:00 GMTWritten by: Chief Executive's, Emergency Planning
Summary
Major Emergencies whilst infrequent, do occur and we must be ready to respond to them. No matter what the cause or impact of an incident may be there is no doubt that the desire and expectation for the Council to supply information to the media and public will be high. The aim of this plan is to address these issues.
In addition to its primary function of providing the necessary response to a major incident, the information about roles and resources should or can be used to deal with lesser incidents.
