Council

Online form

Please read the notes below before completing the online form:

Before filling in the online form, please take a note of:

  1. the vacancy details, including the vacancy number
  2. the post title
  3. department and location.

Alternatively, you can open the vacancy details in a separate window or print them off. The reason for this is that you will need this information to complete the application form and you cannot leave the online form once you have started it, so for example, you can’t go back to have a look at the job details.

The online form is a new service, so we'd like to know your opinions. Please send any feedback on your user experience to Human Resources.

Notes

Instruction notes on using the form are provided below. Please read these before using the online form:

  • You must have Javascript enabled on your PC to use this form
  • There is an option provided for you to save the form following completion. However, you cannot save a partially completed form
  • At the end of the form, you have an option to print out a copy of the form for your records. Alternatively, you can print screen by screen. We advise printing in landscape format
  • If you leave the form untouched for more than 4 hours, it will time out and you will lose any information provided
  • For moving between screens, Next and Previous buttons have been provided. The standard Internet browser buttons (i.e. Back, Forward, Refresh, Home) do not work with the form. Using these will result in you losing your form
  • When you answer ‘Yes/No’ questions or use the Add and Remove buttons, the cursor will go to the top of the screen and you may be required to scroll down
  • Where there is a warning triangle on the screen, you should hover the cursor over the triangle to obtain a description of the error.
