Booking the services of the Registrar
In some larger registration offices where there is a demand for a large number of civil marriages at certain times of the year, it is advisable to make your arrangements well in advance to ensure that you will have the time and date that you wish. Civil marriages are conducted Monday to Saturday at the discretion of the District Registrar. Civil marriage ceremonies can now be conducted on a Sunday. Please contact the Registrar to discuss this.
