Arriving by road from the west
From the west, we suggest you plan your route to arrive on either of the following:
A72 from Glasgow visiting:
- Peebles, where you can take the A 703 to the Pentland Hills and Edinburgh
- Galashiels where you can take the A7 to Selkirk and Hawick, the A6091 towards Kelso, the eastern Borders and the picturesque Berwickshire coast,or the A7 to the Moorfoot Hills and Edinburgh
A708 from Moffat to:
- Selkirk where you can take the A7 south to Hawick and the Craik Forest or north to Galashiels and Edinburgh, or the A699 to
Kelso, the eastern Borders and the Berwickshire coast
