All-year-round.  Glasshouse open approx. 8.00am to 4.00pm.

General Information

The Walled Garden is abundant with flower, heather and shrub beds, hanging baskets and flowering tubs, as well as a glasshouse display of more tender plants.  An aviary and pond are incorporated within the glasshouse, along with a small chipmunk enclosure.  The garden is part of Wilton Lodge Park which caters for a wide range of users, from formal sports such as rugby, tennis and football, to informal recreation such as putting, crazy golf, bowling, croquet and tennis.  There is also a museum housing a wide variety of permanent displays of local themes, natural sciences and militaria, as well as visual art.  Tree-lined walks, a waterfall and formal gardens are main features of the park with autumn tree colours a particular highlight.
